This contemporary fused glass art bowl is done in a modern, clean line design with a luminescent, metallic, high-gloss finish. This purple bowl would make a stunning centerpiece for your dining or coffee table. It was created using transparent “grape” purple glass that has a metallic rainbow iridescent coating fired into the glass. I capped the iridescent glass with a sheet of clear glass, encasing the metallic finish. This technique makes your bowl food-safe. Toss in your favorite fruit or use as a sparkly serving bowl. All glass is hand-cut and each piece requires multiple firings in the kiln to achieve the final shape and form. Total kiln time for this item was approximately 46 hours.
